Executor guns

Post by Crakka »

Obviously a lot of hay has been made out of Mr. Sponge's gun-acne afflicted super star destroyers that show no regard for star wars design. But it has me wondering: Where are the guns on an Executor located? Sources claim anywhere from 750-2,000 heavy turbolaser batteries, yet when we inspect the model, it's smooth as a shark. What gives? Where are they hiding the guns? Are they in the cityscape? The trench? The underside?

Also this has me thinking - why the cityscape? What benefit does it sere to have an exposed cityscape?

I don't think this is a problem exclusive to the executor, it extends to all of the Star Destroyer designs

with the exception of the massive turrets we never see them use on screen, where are the guns on a regular Star Destroyer?
