Maul: Shadow Lord

Post by Platt Okeefe »

With the early renewal for season two and everything we've hesrd about season one I'm starting to wonder, will Maul Shadow Lord be Star Wars' Andor?

It's common to see people refer to high quality franchise tv as that series' "Andor". For example people will say Daredevil is Marvel's "Andor" or how Monarch is the "Andor" of the Monsterverse.

What I'm wondering is if you guys think Maul Shadow Lord could end up being known as the "Andor" show of Star Wars? This series seems to be exploring rich themes with a darker tone in a way we haven't seen in Star Wars tv before.

Star Wars hasn't had an "Andor" show yet and I'm starting to think this could be it!
My name's Oakie. I hear you're hiring freighter pilots

Maybe they will reveal that Maul was preparing for the Vong, would make sense considering he fights one in the novels.
If they think you’re crude, go technical; if they think you’re technical, go crude. I’m a very technical boy. So I decided to get as crude as possible. :ugeek:

An important part of being an "Andor" is seeming unnecessary at first, so that seems likely.
The first billion who must read, and the first star wars fan you must kill, is yourself.
