The High Republic General

I love The High Republic

In general I think Phase 1 is probably best, but I do prefer Phase 2, because it got Axel Greylark and I got a massive fucking crush on that hot, awful, sexy asshole of a man.

I haven't given it a go yet, I kinda like the idea, but there's a few things about it that rankle me

Phase 1 IDW stuff personally can’t be beat for me.

I really enjoyed Phase 1 but I don't think 2 and 3, while interesting, have been as strong. The IDW stuff overall has been excellent though, shame they lost the license.
If they think you’re crude, go technical; if they think you’re technical, go crude. I’m a very technical boy. So I decided to get as crude as possible. :ugeek:

I've never actually given HR a fair shot tbh. I didn't care for the look when I first saw it/the aesthetic felt weirdly different for being only 1-2 hundred years pre PM (that's my understanding of it, pls correct me if I'm wrong). Plus, more importantly, I never had anyone say, "this is good, you gotta check this out" so I didn't.

I've been pleasantly surprised by books I've passed by before, though, so if anyone has a sales pitch for High Rep, I'd love to hear it.
