A Beginner's Guide to the Greatest Anime Ever Created

Hey what's up jedi, it's your local otaku Goop here to explain anime to you

So back in 1979, two years after Star Wars changed the world forever, a man named Yoshiyuki Tomino changed it again. Unlike OTHER giant robot anime, where the story is about the robots, THIS one was about the characters.

50 years after humanity has moved into space, the Principality of Zeon, a breakaway state, has declared war on the Federation, the one world government ruling the Earth Sphere. That's right, in this story the rebels are the BAD GUYS.


However, much like the Jedi Knights of the Republic, the Gundam is a sick warrior of justice against a fascist government so it's still pretty Star Wars-y. (NO REVENGE OF THE SITH SPOILERS)


The story follows a young boy named Amuro Ray, a sort of Luke Skywalker meets Gavin Darklighter character, as he fights with the crew of the White Base against the evil (and smexy) Char Aznable...


So yeah, it's kind of the best anime ever. I hope you all watch it soon so i have someone to talk to about this. Just don't bring any of that Wing shit around me, it's clearly inferior to the Universal Century

Okay but the only ones worth watching are actually The Origin; Mobile Suit Gundam; Zeta and Chars Coutnerattack because those are the only ones that have the best character Char Aznable in them
And they have to be watched in that order too!!!!!!!
