I made my own actual aurebesh Star Wars logo because I loathe the fakebesh one that just debuted at Disney parks.

I really enjoyed it. The animators leaned into using physical assets like matte paintings (and even an actual miniature at one point). The characterization of Maul deepened his complexity considerably, but he's still an absolute bastard. Some of the best animated Star Wars so far.

My theory is that Grogu is going to have a heel turn at some point.

Okay just started on Splinter of the Mind's Eye. Such a wild tone shift from Star Wars (1976). This passage:

This was an instant back for me. I've listened to a few seasons of Friends at the Table, and have always loved Walker & Co's take on ttrpgs. But also, the artist lineup is phenomenal. I mean they got Conner Fawcett? Linnea Sterte?? Incredible lineup.

Currently reading Queen of the Empire and Prophets of the Dark Side in an omnibus edition. Next up is Splinter of the Mind's Eye because I enjoyed Alan Dean Foster's Star Wars (1976) so much.

Which is totally fair. I will say though, the two Ewoks movies are peak. Definitely watch them before Kenobi.
