Re: The Legend of Zelda
Wind Waker is the best one.
Wind Waker is also my favourite, that run from 98 to 07 was so good but I have a particular love for Wind Waker, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and the Four Swords games.
I am very fond of Twilight Princess but it is not as good as people say. Great art style that ...

Also, side note, what the hell kind of alien is this? Flatheaded Muun? Smallheaded Duro? Whatever he is, I love him (also I don't recognize the insignia on their chest, is that NR?)
That is Duros navigator Monnda Tebbo! He's looking up which may give it a funky angle and make the head smaller ...

Re: WEG Art Megathread
God this stuff is so good. I adore all of the ship sections especially. Got anything from the Truce at Bakura Sourcebook?
Here's some Truce!
First artist is Christina Wald! Her art is in quite a few of the WEG books, but also worked on D&D, Shadowrun, Mechwarrior, and more. She seems to have ...

Time for 1994's The Last Command !
First up is David Plunkett, who I was not able to find too much information on. He works on four or five of the WEG publications before swapping to video games in the mid to late 90s. He works for Bethesda on Terminator Future Shock and Daggerfall before moving to ...

I think the Coruscant we see a bit of in TIE Fighter looks more like this than it does anything else. I would love to see Nunis illustrating Wedge's Gamble or Krytos Trap.Crakka wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2026 9:18 pm Andor Coruscant would look like this if they weren't cowards.

Re: WEG Art Megathread
Alright! Time for 1993's Dark Force Rising !
I'll be mostly grouping this batch by artist, and I think we can really see some of their strengths here. Again, this is a collection of things I personally like, so not everything in the book will be represented.
First up is Rob Caswell, who worked on ...

Re: WEG Art Megathread
I figured I may as well begin with what many consider the "birth" of legends, Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy. The sourcebook for Heir to the Empire came out in 1992. These are not all of the images in the sourcebook, merely what i find interesting or aesthetically pleasing.
